The Small Animal Rescue Society of BC is a registered society run by volunteers. Our primary focus is to rescue and rehome small animals in need. Neglected, injured and abandoned animals are our main priority.
Small Animal Rescue works to provide a safe haven for small animals in need while promoting responsible pet guardianship through education, advocacy, and spay/neuter initiatives.

Our good friends at Napoleon Bunnyparte have been busy making lots of eco-friendly toys for small animals & cats for us to sell at Commercial Drive Care Free Day this Sunday. We are thrilled to have their support.

We’ll be out all day on the drive raising awareness about the plight of small animals in need.
Also, we’ll be holding a sale of quality handcrafted items donated by local artisans to raise funds for the animals’ vet care. We’ll have adorable hand knitted animal hats for the little people in your life (and some for the young at heart), eco-friendly bunny and cat toys, vegan/palm-oil free/organic/fair trade/natural handmade soap, greeting cards, super-cool handmade plushies, amigurumi, photography, accessories, lovely knitted items and jewelry! We’ll even have some organic and heirloom veggie seedlings too!!
AND there will be a raffle with some great prizes from the PNE/Playland, Luxe Beauty Lounge, Famoso Commercial Drive, Choices Market…and more TBA! (BC Gaming License # 65012)
Come and visit us on the day, learn more about what you can do to help small animals who have been abandoned, injured and neglected and pick up something special that was created with ♥.

A big thanks to the Langley Herbivores group for hosting a vegan bake sale on the weekend and donating money raised at the event towards our shelter rabbits for some fresh veggies & vet care.
