The Pet Store Agency (PIJAC) and Richmond pet stores will try to convince Richmond city council NOT to ban sales of rabbits in Richmond. They believe people will not be able to BUY what they want to BUY in Richmond, that abandonded animals do not originate from pet store sales and that their staff are EXPERTS on the animals they are selling.
PIJAC put an ad in yesterday’s Richmond Review asking people to help them stop the ban. The crucial meeting is tomorrow, Mon, Feb 8 at 7:00. Please phone city hall 604 276 4134 or email mayorandcouncillors@richmond.ca, and if you can, please attend the meeting at Richmond City Hall.
